Sissy's niece Ashley arrived from Indiana today.  Sissy's friend Kathy has also arrived this evening.

Sissy had another round of radiation this afternoon.  By doing some testing on the portion of the tumor they removed from the lower part of Sissy's bronchial tube, the doctors were able to determine that the cancer is indeed ovarian cancer from her previous bout with it over 20 years ago.  It may have been dormant for years and something triggered it - the doctors really don't know.  Once it took over her bronchial tube and began causing major breathing problems, doctors then found the cancer.

From an ultra-sound yesterday the doctors also found a mass on her bladder.  Tomorrow the doctor is planning on doing a bronchial scope - basically a camera - to go down into the bronchial tube to get a good look at how the cancer is reacting to the radiation.

As I type this (12:40am), Ashley, Ian and Jane are at the hospital with Sissy - she's having a rough go of it tonight...
